Infinity

Their transposition here being visually expressed by a swirling solar system of leaves, branches, and brilliant berries. There is no dissonant note in this perfect microcosm, as each leaf has its place in this visual orchestra- where one advances, another retreats; where one glistens, another is dull; where one is grey and matted, another is soaring above in scarlet touches shimmering in moist highlights. Singing in exquisite order, the abstraction of leaf, limb, and sphere playing against a void of empty space, each element playing its role, each moment purposeful and ordered, and we are reminded to slow down and contemplate, remembering that in the most common of moments we may behold “infinity in the palm of [our] hand, and eternity in an hour.”
